It’s freakin’ December, man. Not only is it December, it’s the last half of December. This year has gone by extremely fast (oh, hi clichés), I don’t even believe it. Despite the relative speed at which this year has seemed to pass, I’ve experienced a butt load. Let me break down all the crap I’ve been privy to this year, starting with my passion: music. (more…)

With popular acts like Rihanna and Brittany Spears going to dubstep producers for new tunes and established rappers like Snoop Dogg and Xzibit laying rhymes over dubstep beats, the genre has indeed made it big. Premiere dubstep trio Nero have recently released their first album, Welcome Reality, and with its new found fame, the syncopated beats and wobble bass of dubstep are starting to climb the charts.

With fall finally here, television is going to see a lot of new faces on the screen. An unlikely addition to the small screen is Zooey Deschanel, known more for her movie roles and even her indie band, She & Him. Deschanel stars in the smart new sitcom New Girl debuting this fall on Fox.

Takahashi Ai is graduating from Morning Musume. If you didn’t already know that, this article probably isn’t for you to begin with. Even though my love for Morning Musume has long since waned (what with no Yossi, no Eri, no Pandas), I feel like this is really the end of the era. Without Takahashi, I can’t really see Morning Musume lasting much longer. But, I digress.
